Sistre been re-watching HIMYM (How I Met Your Mother) that she always watches by the time we eat. In other words, I too, been re-watching HIMYM.
I've watch HIMYM since I was in high school, yet it hit differently as the year goes. Contohnya ni ya, dulu jaman SMA waktu nonton yang diliat adalah "ih Lily Marshall sweet terus, what a soulmate, aku juga mau." Tapi tahun lalu waktu aku marathon re-watch dari season 1, I realize that yes- Marshall and Lily are soulmate, but that doesn't mean they didn't get to do the hard work, the work of love. Bahkan ni ya, aku baru sadar mereka sempat putus gara-gara Lily pingin aktualisasi diri diluar hubungan mereka, padahal waktu itu mereka sudah bertunangan. Kayak baru sadar dan bisa lihat, "oohh although Lily and Marshall are meant to be, doesn't mean they don't have to do the hard work, doesn't mean they won't fight to each other, doesn't mean they won't hurt each other."
Di episode #perenungancemeti kali ini, bukan Lily dan Marshall yang ingin kubahas, tapi Ted. Yes, Ted.

I start to think that I'm Ted. Not the way he adores and dreams about being an architect, but the way he and I suck at not trusting our instinct that told: "this is not the one." I keep saying that I wanna settle down yet, like Ted, quoting Robin at the day Marvin born:
"you're bullshit. You keep chasing the wrong woman. You said you want to start a family and have kids, but here you are chasing some bimbo and can't get over a hot piece of woman (she mean herself) that didn't want kids."Ted easily care for other people, genuinely care. But Ted is a sucker for the idea of the one. He can change his identity overnight just because she met the girl(s) that he thought was the one. The idea of meeting the one that keeps Ted going. It sometimes keeps him blind for a little too much.
Yaudahlahya, dijalani aja. Dipikir terus nggak ada selesainya. Kalau kata Ted "how can we know kalau nggak dijalani?"
